If you don't have a need to get one right now I'd wait for the C6 which gets tandem panels, the biggest YoY upgrade imo.

Which will likely be even more expensive than the base C5 MSRP, and the ~1600$ deal price on the C5 is ~900$ cheaper than current going MSRP for a 77". So, honestly if you need a good 77" you can't really go wrong with a 1600$ C5 77".

If you wanna drop 3k on a C6 77" to get a bit more brightness, then go for it. Smilie
