Cost is a major factor for me. Now that the printer tech we have can do PETG as easy as PLA thats how I feel about PLA. PLA is almost pointless to me since PETG is now as easy and as cheap so i'm hoping this does become more mainstream so it could intern do the same thing and replace PETG. That keeps it relevant for me cuz i dont want to have to intern raise my product costs
But generally I print PETG As well, not much of a reason to do otherwise.

Seriously, this is silly -- go do some basic research. There are countless youtube videos and online articles documenting this in detail, showing before-vs-after results. The real question is why are you treating it like a conspiracy and denying the cold hard SCIENCE -- that the material is hygroscopic, some much more than others.
