Good price but make sure you dry this well before using. I've had luck running Elegoo PETG right out of the vacuum bag without drying but not this Overture.

It's in their US trademark filing: https://uspto.report/TM/88426161/...821090905/ They're using polymaker.com email addresses.

I'm not unconvinced that anyone who mentions drying has any clue what they are doing
the number of issues fixed by tweaking setting makes me think the whole dryer industry is a scam
Like really?
Tell me you don't print with ASA without telling me you don't print with ASA.

Been printing with PCTG recently (from 3Dfuel) and have been really impressed. It's way more expensive than this deal, but figured I'd mention it since it doesn't seem to be mainstream yet. Just mentioning this before because I find PETG rather pointless when there is a much better alternative (price aside).
Cost is a major factor for me. Now that the printer tech we have can do PETG as easy as PLA thats how I feel about PLA. PLA is almost pointless to me since PETG is now as easy and as cheap so i'm hoping this does become more mainstream so it could intern do the same thing and replace PETG. That keeps it relevant for me cuz i dont want to have to intern raise my product costs

Yep, unless I want a matte finish I'd rather print in PETG than PLA.

Considering the general level of distrust this gets right now, I'd say the better buy at this moment is:

Elegoo 1KG x 4 PETG Black - $38.36 ($9.59 per spool - On sale currently)

PLA gets a lot of attention since it has a ton more pretty colors than PETG does. Silks and other really fancy colors are almost all PLA.

But generally I print PETG As well, not much of a reason to do otherwise.

The Elegoo PETG HF is very good. Never tried their regular PETG. I haven't been terribly impressed by any non HF PETG. With a .6 nozzle, I can easily push 30mm3/sec via a Bambu hotend with the HF and still get excellent print results in way less time.
