I bought this on clearance about a year ago for $89 I think. I love it. It's so powerful for such a small package. It doesn't hold a whole lot, especially if you use the bags, but the power is great. I actually cut the end off the bags and dump it, then fold and staple it back together. I can get a few uses out of a bag this way (I hate knocking out pleated filters). Anyway, the 5hp motor is the same size as a lot of the full size models. While I'm at it, you can attach one of the Ridgid mufflers on it to quiet it down, but I don't think it's super lot to begin with. The exhaust blows through the cord storage compartment which helps some. The hose stays secured well and the tools store in the lid out of site. It's very strong, I've used it to sit on. I've seen reviews where people say they stand on them like a step stool, but I feel like I'll break one of the compartment covers if I move wrong. Great vacuum. It is just a little heavy though, 12# iirc.

Going to snag one. My shop vacs are getting quite old and don't perform nearly as well these days, and I have a large 10 gal rolling unit which is cumbersome and an old vacuum head that snaps onto a 5 gal bucket which is convenient, but pretty weak.
