I got something similar last year on a similar deal here through Amazon.

I had high hopes because it was stainless steel and could go into dishwasher, but it really started getting tarnished after about 4 months (I Washed biweekly in the dishwasher).

The filters seemed to create a purple mold that got in the water and stained the pump, I had been using RO filtered water in the fountain, so I eventually stopped using the filters.

The light in the pump stopped working at about 5 months and got loud.

I eventually pitched it and caught a Petlibro on sale. Much better experience and product.

This sounds like my experience with every piece of Chinese slop and a weird product name.

My dog drinks water filtered by my reverse osmosis system. There is no need for this.

I ordered a similar foutain from Amazon over three years ago and it still shines like day 1. It did cost more ($32) at the time though ($26 now). Replaced the pump three times at about $11 a shot. No trouble with purple mold. I use tap water and wash it in the dishwasher every two weeks or so (pump too)!
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09DSVF...in_title_9 Maybe the extra cost is worth it?

Precisely. Real dogs drink from puddles and toilets.

I don't like these type of fountains. Power stops working, no water in the dish.
I have one of these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09PBCWR1W I bleach the filter every once a while and run everything through the dishwasher except the pump. Good enough for two cats. If you have a dog, its too small, other vendors make bigger ones.
