These were the most uncomfortable shoes I've put on my feet possibly ever. I've never noped out of a shoe faster. Try these on when they arrive and wear them vs putting in closet so you don't miss the return window.

Good for weight lifting?
Better than your average sneaker for protection, I'd say, but they squeak loudly on wet, hard floors. They are also very slippery on painted and metal surfaces when wet.

They have these in store if anyone wants to try them. I have never had ANY luck with generic shoes like these but these were actually the 1 pair out of 5 I tried at Walmart that actually felt comfortable. YMMV.

So glad you posted this. Almost took a chance, but I simply can't stand squeaky shoes.
Bought these last time they went on sale, insole was giving me problems. Went with one of those orange cloud type Amazon insoles for a few buck and made them a lot more comfortable. Wearing them now. Bought another backup pair as well.
If these are anything like the last Ozark waterproof hiking shoes I got 6 months ago, they really are waterproof and they are comfortable to wear with decent EVA.

Maybe don't buy shoes at Walmart. Not specifically hiking shoes but I've bought shoes from converse, vans, adidas, new balance, under armour, etc for $20-30 range sometimes depending on sales. Not against Walmart or ozark trail brand, I've bought a handful of their soft shell rain jackets which were a deal
