That's also what I'm thinking of using these for. But USB-A spec is only 5V if I'm not mistaken. So at 1A, it's gonna max out at 5W. In other words, slow charge. Fml. If the plug supports 3A, then 15W ain't shabby.

Good for basic devices or if you have a bunch of old USB A ports or cables laying around. Better for data than charging speed though

The list specifically lists "Android phones support up to 18w fast charging, and Apple phones support up to 7.5w charging " and "3A charging experience". 18 W normally corresponds with 9V/2A or 12V/1.5A charging. And for basic USB, 3A may refer to the old common 5V/3A (15 W) charging.

I wouldn't expect a lot from these in terms of charging capabilities. But 15 W or 18 W would be pretty good for old USB-A charging bricks.
