Here is my comment from the last posting replying to someone warning about the watts/amps this thing draws. Buyer beware: Wanted to come and reply to this person's excellent insight that I wish I had paid more attention to. Maybe this will help someone else in the future. Uninstalled my old bidet with a water tank, installed this one, and immediately the lights in the bathroom started to flicker and the bathroom fan lowered in speed whenever you sat on the thing. When starting up and heating water, it pulls about 80% of the total load on the bathroom breaker. If you have it on its own dedicated circuit/breaker, you are probably fine but otherwise I would avoid.

The best way to check if your lights/fan/etc would be affected by this bidet is to plug in clothes iron into the same power outlet that you plan to use for bidet. Turn the iron up to linen or cotton mode and observe the lights.

Just invest in a true Japanese toilet if you want this experience. These add-on things are a weak substitute.
This couldn't be further from the truth. At least for the Toto brand. Most Japanese households with bidets have something like this. You don't need to replace the entire toilet to get the experience.

We got ours at Costco for $250 about two years ago. My only regret is not buying a second one. I might pull the trigger for our second bathroom.

Our current Toto Washlet (S300), about 23 years old, has a wall mounted remote. Sensor died so looking to replace our washlet. On this model, it looks like it is fixed to the side of the toilet which I assume does not move with the up/down motion of the seat. Is it easy enough to access the buttons from the side? Been also eyeing the KS6 model for about $120 more.
This is accurate. It doesn't move with the seat. It's easy enough to access though I guess size of individual might change that somewhat. For reference, I am 6'1" and about 200 pounds; I have zero issues with it.

As I mentioned in another comment, my only regret is not buying a second when Costco had them at $250 (they clearanced these and are now selling one with the stand alone wall mounted remote).

Funnily enough we buy our toilet paper at costco too. This has reduced our TP consumption for our family of five so much that I suspect another few years of operation and this thing will have paid for itself.

Is this discontinued? Google results shows it but I don't see it on Toto's website.
It might be. Costco clearanced these off about two years ago and are now selling a model that has a standalone wall mounted controller.

Yes. No one would ever buy a truly 'used' one. I presume they're returns that didn't fit or 'open box'.

Curious to ask. What's the purpose of a round bowl in today's world? It seems elongated is the standard.

Agreed. Toto claims it's a $700 seat yet it's never been sold that high.

So I got this from Wayfair with a 10% coupon. So one FYI. The bidet water inlet is a proprietary connector that only fits into the supplied T which connects to the water tank. So I had to pull my existing lines from my Biobidet out, go to the hardware store to buy new lines from the valve T, and a plug for where the biobidet used to connect. Made a 15 minute job into an hour and a half. Of course, in removing and putting in new lines, there is a slow leak now around the water valve T that I need to find. . Bottom line is that when you switch from one brand to another, you need to plan on replumbing the lines. Toto could have made it a LOT easier if they simply made the connector on the water inlet of the bidet a standard 1/2" FIP.

FYI, Toto is actually based on an American invention. They took the tech and perfected it.And in Japan, PLENTY of western toilets have these add-on Totos. I've been all over Japan and it's more uncommon to see all-in-ones there.
Toto is actually a Taiwanese company...LOL

The control panel on the side is not really considerate. I would prefer a remote to be mounted on the wall.

Let me guess...some broke ass AI told you that? Because it's totally wrong. Trust, but verify with AI.

No, Toto is a JAPANESE COMPANY. The company name is based on a Japanese phrase.

Do they MAKE products in other countries? Yes. But Toto HQ has always been Japan.

All you had to do is go to the "About Toto" section of toto.com to find out if they're a Japanese company. It's right there.

Great deal. I opted for the ks6 myself for the premist. But this is more than good enough especially at this price.
