Yes, if a Bluetooth device that participates in the Find My network (which is pretty much most relatively current Apple devices unless disabled) detects it, it will show it its location on a map. Like everything in the find me ecosystem, a Bluetooth enabled device with some kind of Internet connection needs to update the location. None of these trackers are aware of where they are or capable of transmitting location data.
