Keep in mind that this doesn't have precision find like an AirTag that will give you the direction and distance. You're relying on the being able hear alarm.

For small items, the precision finding for me using the UWB chip is the biggest advantage of the AirTags.

This is for when you leave your wallet at the restaurant or forget that you left it in your jacket when you can't find it. This isn't to somehow surreptitiously track down a pickpocket and in act some kind of vigilante justice.

The crazy scenarios you kids invent to crap on a deal because you can only imagine one use are pretty amazing.

Yes and need apple device to even get a login, ive tried.

Yes, if a Bluetooth device that participates in the Find My network (which is pretty much most relatively current Apple devices unless disabled) detects it, it will show it its location on a map. Like everything in the find me ecosystem, a Bluetooth enabled device with some kind of Internet connection needs to update the location. None of these trackers are aware of where they are or capable of transmitting location data.

The heading reads work with "Apple Find My only"


But then later down the page it says "Use with both iPhone & Android."
