I have a near identical one from 5 years ago that I threw out recently. All my other vacuums have been uprights. While the wand and vacuum head was great to use, the actual vacuum module itself was clumsy. It didn't maneuver around corners well while you walked ahead and got stuck somewhat often as a result.
Additionally, the cord retract on mine, while a great idea on paper, failed after a year and I always had about 5 foot of slack power cord that didn't retract into the body.
Another demerit, the vacuum head on mine tangled long hair constantly. If this one doesn't have some anti hair wrap technology upgrade, be prepared to sit and cut hair out of the vacuum head constantly especially if people in your family shed long hair often.
