I got this (June 2024) and made the mistake of planting it in the yard. Zone 9. Now it's something like 15 ft tall. It's nice looking but read it can get very tall, luckily it's not close to the house.

Does it actually yield fig fruit or is it decorative plant?

They do produce figs but these are not edible.

It's a invasive plant to the US. In the right tropical conditions it can grow to 50ft tall
