Sorry, the brand name is VACO. Socket sets, screwdriver multi tip and mixed batch of stuff suprisingly well made tools. Toolboxes and storage cases, underwear, soap, guy stuff. ROSS who knew? Now I shop there with the missus all the time. Tuesday for seniors 10% off. VACO is owned by Klein tools.

You were nicer to him than he deserved - it was CLEARLY stated the price was at Ross, which also denotes In-Store, as in, NOT AMAZON.

Thanks for the info about VACO, much appreciated.

I might give one a try next time I go to Lowes.

However if they are anything like the magnetic screwdriver it would end up in the garbage. Their multi screwdriver is unusable because of the tight tolerations on the bits. Takes forever to swap them out.

That being said, the non-magnetic multi screwdriver is the best on the market. I've got 4 of them.

I'm in for 1. I'm just a DIY homeowner, but I appreciate the quality & convenience of Klein tools for my DIY projects. All good reviews on the Lowe's site as well.

I own one of these and it's fantastic. Well built and won't fall apart in a few weeks. When I was a telecom field technician, all we used was Klein. The field manager said it was because they last, even in the field. Later that manager was me and it's all I ordered.

You are most welcome! ROSS rotates VACO tools along with other brands. They have been stocking battery powered tools lately. I can not vouch for them but they are there. Good luck!

Sometimes it's good to not make an *ss of yourself. I was well aware that he said he got it from Ross. I was simply stating you can get it from Amazon for same price as this deal.

Just got mine open and the rubber handle is sticky as if it's already starting to break down (or has some residual manufacturing oils or something). Leaves some residue on my hands, even after having tried to wipe/clean it off.

Not cool, but hopefully it'll go away with a little more handling. Looks like the date of manufacture might be August 2024.
Would like to keep it since it'll complement the Klein SAE impact set (1/4" - 1/2") that I've had for a while quite nicely.
