Really good price!! Best purchase ever. I was skeptical prior to purchasing it but it has saved me more times then I can count. Been a happy owner for 2 years. Highly recommended! Just be careful most police are using KA band. I rarely get lazer hit probably twice in the two years I've owned it. By the time you're hit with a laser you are probably getting a ticket probably good to pair it with a laser jammer if legal in your state. KA band I'm set for 1 mile because if I set it to 3 miles then its alot of police around the city. Keep it at the original version never update it mine performed 100% better at the initial version when I updated it seemed to miss and false alert I had to downgrade it.

Those doors normally use k or X band and would trigger any detector. This detector has a GPS chip that allows you to setup low speed muting. So if you are driving under a preset value (let's say you set to 15mph) the detector will automatically mute those k/x bands.

The R8 is like having 2 detectors. One facing forward and the other facing backward. Knowing where the signal is from is really useful. I have an R4 and R8.
