My 4 y.o. uses this when playing Nintendo Switch. So many of the new controller shapes aren't as friendly for smaller hands.

Great controller. I use it all the time to play games on the go on tablets and laptops. Packs so easy in a backpack.

Instead of Bluetooth, can this work on a 2.4g wireless dongle like the one that comes with 8bitdo M30

I heard Bluetooth controllers maybe laggy sometimes so i may stay away even though 8bitdo puts out solid products

Playstation, Xbox and Switch all use Bluetooth. Your concerns are generally outdated.

I'm looking for a controller that has a decent D-pad more than anything else. This it, chief? Or do you recommend something else?

Anyone vouch for their experience with this on an Apple TV?

This is good. The dpad is in the right location for dpad games rather than an afterthought like on modern controllers. The dpad is slightly firm but good. The tegenaria? controller that was on sale is also excellent for for PlayStation type dpad games.

If you're use to the switch joystick adapter...this will be small till you're use to it...

Once you're use to it...you won't go back...$30 bucks well spent
