Wow, turning a non-disposable item into a one time use because you're unwilling to clean it. I'm not a tree hugger, but wow, that's wasteful.

I have 4 that I bought over a year ago. We use them daily for everything cutting meat, food, ect. I only have wash them so only one has very mild rust at the hinge point but other than that one, they're great.

Just got two of these delivered via Walmart+ along with my usual household supplies. My first reaction was to threadcrap because they felt toy-light compared to my Stedi heavy duty scissors [amazon.com]. Then I put them up against that infamous Costco-level, Home Depot Ryobi packaging plastic—the final boss of consumer packaging—and they cut through it without crying for help.

So yeah… legit deal!

It may feel that way. For me time spent trying to clean this in between is much more wasteful. For grilling, it must come apart or it will never be clean. You could use this for crafts and office instead.
