1900 Storm , Galveston, Texas. Worst natural disaster. They put bodies on barges and sent them into the Gulf only to have them drift back to land. This Isaac fellow was the local meteorologist running more on intuition that rudimentary barometric data. Good history for anyone impacted by hurricanes.
