I've had these since they were released, plugging the case into your phone via usb-c allows you to get amazing sound from these (you can also use Bluetooth directly), but for iphone users having the case also be a transmitter makes such a noticable difference.

Tempting. How big of a jump in audio quality from Bose QC 2?

I own these and the Bose qc2. I also own the headphone versions with the same company. These have really awesome sound and fit decently in the ear. I ended up getting a questyle qcc pro to have even better quality sound, but it's not needed as the bt sound alone is really good. Bose has a better anc and fit for me, but these have better sound. This deal is awesome! I picked these up for 300 last month through woot.

Having owned both, there's a significant difference in sq. While the app3 sounds good, the pi8 with foam tips, eq, and connected through transmission case sound more musical, lively, detailed, spacious. App3 does have stronger bass and phenomenal anc.

I followed your directions and my phone exploded, started a fire and burned half of my house down. The sprinkler system kicked in then prince appeared singing an amazing version of purple rain then disappeared with the smoke. Long story short headphones are 8.5 out of 10

Is $280 worth it given that Bose, Sony and Apple all make competing products that sell new for same or less? Is the Brand premium worth it as a daily use item for work and commute

These are the best ear buds that I own. I have Samsung buds 3 pro, Google pro, Marshall and none of these compare.

I have these, Bose QC Ultra and Airpod pro 2. The ANC on these are not even close to the Bose but the sound is sublime. Worth it.
