I'm sad to say that unbranded / untested cast iron on Amazon is very unsound. I've tried twice and each time I've gotten a product whose enamling/seasoning is artificial and strips off into my food within two uses. If you must by Cast Iron, do buy Lodge or another known brand. It is extremely likely that the cause of my issues is adulteration of the 'iron' , likely with lead. Once you add lead to the cast iron mix, you need a blast furnace to remove it.
