incredible price on a triband wifi 7 router..... You dont need anything but this for most households. Could not find many reviews of it unfortunately, but the slightly better BE9700 has reviewed very well, linked it below since they should be pretty identical. The only real difference between the 9500 and 9700 is the 9500 has 2 1Gbps ports instead of 3 2.5Gbps ports on the 9700. Also the 5Ghz band is slightly faster on the 9700.

I have this and it's been doing very well. I got 1.4G speed on wifi.

It gets pretty hot after running for long time which I assume is what caused connection issue for some. I left it on a wired rack so it can cool from both top and bottom.

Make sure you put the cable in the LAN port of the downstream router (not WAN)
Oh that was my mistake. I ended up doing the above and joining the mesh via Wi-Fi first then plugging into the downstream WAN port.

I haven't setup my 2nd unit yet. So in summary: Turn on Easy Mesh and Satellite Mode of 2nd unit, Then connect from LAN port of main router to WAN port of satellite router?

Also for people debating tri-band, there is 6G Hz band it's very fast. 2G range is not perfect after 2 walls, so you need mesh for large homes.

I have Sonic fiber at 10G and this is the cheapest solution for me to harvest that throughput. The satellite unit area will drop to 2.5 G(since the LAN is 2.5G). So I used the first unit as a switch and hardwired TV/PS5 to it. This way I will get performance below for only 200 dollars:

Whole Home 10 Gb
  • [Up to 9.5G all band ]Main Router Wifi area
  • [Up to 2.5G Wired each] Hardwired Devices like TV + PS5
  • [Up to 2.5G] Satellite Area wifi

The 10Gb WAN and 2.5Gb LAN alone are probably worth it. Below 100, it's not easy to find a branded 10Gb switch that's doesn't require SFP+ converter for 10G WAN.

If you connect a computer to it via network cable, you can set it to satellite mode pretty easily going to '192.168.1.1' in your browser. Works a lot easier than the other methods available, the other methods kept failing for me. Then you can just use the tether phone app to add the satellite router to your main router wirelessly.

You don't need to worry about the satellite router's settings other than setting it to satellite mode. Mine needed a firmware update but I was able to wirelessly connect it to my main router without any issues before upgrading the firmware.

I bought 2 of them. Can anyone power all the best settings for wifi 7 and legacy devices to get the best performance in standalone and wifi mesh on this model?

Bought Archer BE9300 from Meijer at and Archer BE9500 from Costco at same price $99. BE9500 constantly drop signal and range is not that good compared to BE9300. Returning Archer BE9500.

6G range is very bad. It only works in the same room. It is not strong even in the next room. Not worth upgrading my four year old asus ax68u. Returning this to costco.

Can anyone kindly paste detailed settings for these for best performance including 7 band? Also maybe in a wired and wireless mesh as well. There is not lots of detail out on this router model. I set the widest channels possible and turned on MLO. Many Thanks in advance.

Discovered easymesh doesn't extend the MLO network... No Wi-Fi 7 mesh! What a joke that isn't standard and may come with a firmware upgrade.

Anyone else's say shipped on Costco, but have no information from UPS? I ordered on 1/15, and it says shipped 1/16, but the tracking still says it is awaiting package.
EDIT: Nevermind, got an order cancellation email as I feared.

Mine arrived yesterday. Using it as an easy mesh satellite via wireless backhaul to a BE805 main unit. The be9500 is around 18 to 20 feet from main unit with a wall in between. The 6ghz link speed usually says it is around 2000 mbps. Real world speeds between 600-800 mbps. Not too bad at that distance.
