Has anyone tried using a P&G $5 otc reward at CVS old register recently? Manager tried twice today, no go. I did a chat online with P&G which was no help at all. I know the old registers process them like cvs gift cards, and I read there's been a problem using cvs gift cards recently. Wonder if that's the issue.

I haven't shopped in CVS in months now. (Lost lot of money with Ecb expiring and not keeping up)
I need to buy Flaxseed oil capsules and chocolates and candies. Does anybody know when Easter will hit 70 or 75 %?
Saw one brand of Flaxseed oil on BOGO but it was $25! Really? Haven't bought in a year but $25 seems way too much. Any deals scenario will be so appreciated. TIA

ECB question - I see in the ad starting on Sunday there is going to be $10 ECB's when you buy $20 worth of Tresemme plus it says a $5.00 off (2) Tresemme coupon is coming to. I want to buy Hairspray which at my store is priced at $8.29 each (probably higher in store). My question is how do I make this work so I'll still get the $10 ECB's?

If I buy (3) Tresemme hair sprays at $8.29 each that equals $24.87 - $5.00 digital coupon on 2 = $19.87. Would that trigger the $10 ECB even thought it's under the $20 spend threshold after the $5.00 coupon? Not sure how the coupon plays into this not to mention sales tax? Also I have my $10 CVS monthly coupon that I would also use to pay part of the balance which would lower it further. Can someone help me make sure I do this correctly?

Yes, you should get the $10 ECB. Most stores follow the 98% rule so that you have to spend at least 98 percent of the total to get the ECB. Will work at the new registers as well. Threshold coupons like $4/10 or whatever does not follow 98% rule at the new registers.

Not necessarily. In my experience, online your total would have to be $20 after coupons, unlike the store where total is before coupons. This is one big difference between the store and online. But when you place the items in your cart and checkout online, it will show you if you have met the ECB requirement.

My comments only applied to in-store. Online rules are flaky when it comes to ECB's in my opinion.

I went to CVS this morning and Easter is still 75% off non-food and 50% food. Do holiday items ever go to 90% now? If so when would that be? Next Sunday or sometime during this week?

You might check again either Tuesday or Wednesday. I may be wrong, but it seems like last year or the year before, the clearance changed again during the middle of the week and then it as all packed up on Saturday or Sunday.

I've had times when they show up later in the day after pickup, often is the next day.
