Just went to a few stores and got a bunch of the dog soccer balls for $2.5 each, my dog loves the one I already got him so good to have other ones ready to go when he inevitably destroys them lol. but yeah one i went to did not have much out, just a small table of shirts. but the others still had a bunch of tumblers, hats and other stuff.
The ad lists some stores and says "other participating brands"
but my stores never hang tags
I've had good experiences searching with Google - which now has AI help.
So I asked it about "other brands"
Participating Brands
Vudu / Fandango at Home
Under Armour
Focus Brands (select participating mall and fast-casual food eateries)
then I asked what Focus Brands includes:
Auntie Anne's
Cinnabon
Jamba
Moe's southwest Gril
lMcAlister's Deli
Schlotzsky's
Carvel
I don't like using AI b/c of all the energy it requires (although I once asked the Google AI and was told it's not as intensive as something like ChatGPT), so maybe sharing this here helps justify .it.

Found a clearance L'Oréal cream and when checked out, $5 ECB printed, which is new for me.

Yes, clearance USUALLY works for ecb
If the face value of a DQ or PQ is more than the value of an item, then it adjusts down to make the item free instead of being rejected on the old system
Spend $X Ecbs still print at 98% of X, but crts need 100% of X
Digital coupons detach and re-attach after each Total, this is only relevant in rare situations when multiple dqs can attach to the same item.
If you have digital only Ecbs from an online order or from checking out on the old system and using Almost e-mail and print option then it would change expiration date on all of them to today plus 30 days. And the same for a fresh transaction. On the plus side you won't lose them by forgetting to send them to card within 1 week, on the minus side you won't have 1 week extension of the expiration date.
