Looks like I can replicate the deal. The main issue is that HP is probably the most flaky PC brand I've ever seen. They cancel deals like nobody's business, so it's great if this goes through but it's not confirmed until it actually ships.

If it does ship then for ~1100 you get RTX 4070 desktop performance and a good amount of VRAM for 1440p, unlike 5060/5070 mobile. Great value given the RAM shortage.

That is actually not true. There is plenty of games who utilize more then 16gb of ram if available. Hogwarts Legacy, Last of us ect... Most open world games utilize from it as well. Sure the majority of games don't but there is plenty of games who actually do.
