More voltage runs hotter and lowers the longevity of the recharge limit.

Ikea LADDA 1900mAh - $9.99/4pack
Ikea LADDA 2450mAh - $11.99/4pack
This is taken from IKEA USA official website as of January 12th, 2026. The eneloop deal is better.

These are great. I use them in my Yale wifi lock, which are notorious for eating through batteries. I get about 4.5-5 months on a charge.

I use these in my Roku remote which burns through batteries. I have some Eneloop AA batteries that are 10 years old and are still holding their charge. I also have some Amazon and knock off rechargables that lose charge quickly. In for one!
Yep! I've bought lots of Eneloop's. Then to save money, I purchased energizer and Amazon batteries and their performance is subpar when compared to the Eneloop's. I just buy these now...saves me headaches.

Get the Panasonic pro charger. It only takes 3 hours for full charge whereas the IKEA one takes 6.
Panasonic should be great. They make Eneloop so I'm sure most (if not all) of their chargers are designed to charge them safely.

Doesn't seem like a deal. More expensive per battery than IKEA which afaik are similar to eneloop.

It's a deal for these batteries. I bought them for $22 a few months ago. as of 2023 the price is usually around $24.
Maybe I'm mistaken but I feel like they are often $2 each, but maybe I'm thinking of the AAA version.

Edit: Yea, it's the AAA's that are usually $2 each.

What do you mean more voltage runs hotter?

Are you talking about high charging current makes it hotter? I think most NiMH chargers are CC (constant current), and some of the more advanced ones you can set the charging current.

For those that need more power from their batteries, I have had good experience with Tenergy... Their Tenergy Premium PRO Rechargeable AA Batteries, High Capacity 2800mAh [amazon.com] are cheaper as well. They work well with controllers and remotes for RCs

I also use their charger [amazon.com]to recharge my Eneloops, and it's been goo as well

Does anyone know if I can use these in my Xbox S controller and rechargeable dock? Thanks in advance.
In the controller yeah it will work. Not sure on the rechargable dock, but if it's one that plugs into the USB port on the controller, I would assume not.

I have struggled on the Yale locks to get rechargeables that can hit the voltage needed. These rechargeables are often lower voltage than non rechargeables. I found some lithium rechargeables that seem to work well, but i will probably try these too.
I haven't tried other rechargeables in mine, but I haven't had any issues with these.

My 4 year old Eneloops are still going strong. . My 2 year old amazons lose all charge after sitting for a few days. More expensive up front, but cheaper in the long run.

They were $16.85 for a month over November/December 2025. That was a deal.
