FYI, these don't support a lav mic unlike the Mic 2's.

Recently bought the DJI $79 Mic mini kit [amazon.com], what a deal. Definitely not matching Mic 3 but miles better than my other mics to use on phone.

Not really, Mic Mini is pretty run of the meal in terms of performance. Only thing it is good for is easy on use with DJI action cams.
