I've had 4 different Roborock vacs and they are all excellent, however if you can swing it, I'd highly recommend getting one with a automatic dock that auto washes and dries the mop pads and empties the vaccum chamber for you. I've gone from having to remember to do it every other night to not having to worry about it for a week at a time. Life saver.

I have the q7 and am upset that it can't avoid wires and backpack straps. Always gets stuck. Is the q8 any better?

as someone who has multiple of robots (mostly irobot and neato, and recently upgrade to dreame), you want one with automatic dock, otherwise you better off just buy a regular vacuum.

Robotock with the auto wash and dry, and the auto empty have significantly improved my quality of life. If there is anything I'd recommend to people, it would be this.

Which dreame do you have? I just returned the mova p50 ultra so I can purchase the p50 pro. But open to other options if it's a better value.

Dreame govac 508 (from Costco). Which is basically a x40 ultra. I have to scheduled to run daily at night.
