Sansui used to be one of the better Japanese Hi-Fi brands out there... 50 years ago. Today, though, I'd be surprised if they weren't just another victim of a holding company trying to capitalize on the name recognition.

They were a major hi-fi brand back in the 70s, then the name got sold a bunch of times.
