Holy moly, that 10% off does not really make the price look any better. Good luck keeping each and every socket together. 😃 The Chrome Moly is nice though. 👌

It's a lot of sockets but it doesn't look terribly useful for a $430 209-piece set.
No universal impact sockets, which is mostly what I use. Universals are awesome, I use them all the time. It's crazy a 209 piece set doesn't have them.
It only goes up to 36mm with some skips. One of my cars has a 38mm axle nut. So that's an issue....
1/4" impact is kind of a joke but the real laughter will come when you try to warranty these.
You want cheap impact sockets? Go to Harbor Freight. You can build a proper set with universal impacts for this money. And then you can use that lifetime warranty in-store.
Get these when there's a good sale:
https://www.harborfreight.com/12-...59741.html
3/8 if you want it:
https://www.harborfreight.com/38-...59745.html
That said, these are routinely $20 and are super handy:
https://www.harborfreight.com/12-...69560.html
Those $20 sets come in 6-point and 12-point, which is also lacking in this Gearwrench set. (The 12's are for removing rounded bolts. Hammer them on and you can turn a completely rounded head.)

Notice how the Gearwrench name is just lasered on not stamped.
Clear sign that these were bought from a vendor that slaps dozens of different brand names on the same product.
In the past this set was high quality from a Taiwanese foundry this may still be the case although Apex has been shifting alot of production to low quality foundries in mainland China.
