Arrived today and the kids will get $16 out of it (I know I will)
1000X magnification the way the layman thinks of it would let you see bacteria and junk. These kinds of devices use the cliff's notes version of magnification and then they put a marketing spin on it.
That being said, for the price, these are fun AF, especially when looking at electronics/nature/etc.
