yes, I included both in my post already if you search this on SD, what does it tell you?
🤷 People get divided on stuff all the time and with talk of Panasonic getting rid of their TV division I'm not sure if buying one is the right thing to do

How's this compare to the different LG OLED lines? Is it closer to the B, C, or G series?

If you are considering putting this tv in a room with a lot of windows and plan on being home to watch TV during the day- let me stop you there and save you some time.

This thing turns into what is essentially a dark colored mirror and you'll hate it.

Where did you hear that? Panasonic is still one of top tier TV makers. Especially their black levels. They are the gate keepers of Pioneer TV tech.

I love this TV for my use case. It is glossy so the TV's opposing wall needs to be without window light. Sound is excellent and picture is fantastic and it is bright even in a well lit room. I use it for a living room PC and game consoles. I don't interact with FireTV that much, but I can say it is the worst OS that brings with it the cheapest ugliest remote. It sounds negative, but I kept the TV and I have no regrets. I love that the included stand is center and not end legs. It will work with so many TV consoles.

Wait, what? Top tier? If that's the case, why don't I hear of them mentioned with LG, Samsung and Sony? It seems like even TCL and Hisense get mentioned much more often regarding picture quality with their mini LEDs than Panasonic.
Panasonic mostly left the USA scene for a while, then only started releasing low-end TVs here again. They've remained a high-end brand outside the US. They use OLED panels from LG currently. I'm not sure about their LCD panels; I think they had stopped making them temporarily.
If you want to get some good info on TV tech, I highly recommend CalebRated on YouTube. He's the guy who used to do Digital Trends' TV and audio reviews, but they kinda screwed him over, so he went out on his own (which they tried to block, and he sued them over).

Yes they are still a top tier. Movie set you will still find director will use either Sony or Panasonic TV to view their materials. They exited the US market because the numbers on high end TV wasn't moving a lot compared to LCD. Panasonic is still a top tier. But their numbers isn't what it once was. So now only TV people would know the brand. Their tech beat early models of OLED TV on black levels. That was how good they are.

Delete your comment you sound like the noob customers I get everyday that tell me that they only buy Samsung because they make the best TVs .... then they go and buy the U8000 and the U7900 and come back and tell me how it's the best TV lol

You young bucks really like telling on yourself don't you?

Panasonic is ELITE. Japan dominated for decades just on sheer quality. those brands are incredibly reliable.
