If it was 240hz I'd go for it. That should be the minimum nowadays.

Three of these or a G9 49 inch Oled with the 240hz for 970 on woot? Would be for Sim racing exclusively.

I ordered that similar MSI panel that had 240hz, it hasn't shipped yet. Honestly, anything over 100fps I cannot tell the difference. Canceled the MSI order and picked up this panel!

PS: Sorry for the double post.

Those eSports FPS kids need those extra frames yo! But yeah, for us lay gamer folks, it's irrelevant. Although just as with marketing spin on advanced audio codecs in home AV equipment, those who spend extra magically hear and see better things.

Some (few?) people can tell a difference, but if you are one of the ones who can't, enjoy all the money you are going to save. 🙂

I bought the AOC Q27GAZD 27 a few weeks ago with arrival date between Jan19-Feb9th.. SO much waiting. It was $359

Slightly better HDR on the AOC and 240hz. I guess I don't need it right away so the waiting continues.

Thanks - this might be a good starting point to OLED video panels (won't be a main driver - since I have 2 32" 4k professional monitors). One nitpicking point - does 200 nits make sense on these monitors?

Only if this thing was 4k, I would jump on it.

I bought one in December. The panel is pretty good with all the benefits of an OLED as you would expect. It's very fast and you can get those perfectly dark blacks. It does look a bit purple from certain angles, but if you're infront of it it just looks black when it's off. However, the stand and bezel etc all seem as cheap as possible while still being stable, but if you plan to mount this on an arm, the cheap stand won't matter. The other big flaw with this is that although it can display pure black, it can't seem to get bright enough to display white, so anything on the dark side looks amazing, but pure white backgrounds look a bit gray compared to my 4k Dell IPS panel I have sitting next to it. It's a great monitor for gaming, It's good for productivity but not perfect.
