Worked at Walmart. Does NOT work at Home Depot. Home Depot has you pay at their register so there is no way to add a coupon code on the machine. Very awkward because there was no way to stop the key from being made once I realized. Had to go to customer service and ask them if I could just not buy it.

I tried earlier at Walmart, 1hr after OP. Didn't work. Said coupon was invalid.

MinuteKey hasn't posted these coupons for a few years. Before, these coupons always worked...

Interesting, good to know. I definitely now know if there is no payment part to the machine, its prob a no go.

Lame that it isn't applying consistently. I remember this being a relatively regular deal and realized I hadn't seen a deal like this in years when it appeared today.

Worked for me at Lowe's just now. There is an add coupon code option at the payment screen before it starts cutting the key.

Regular key worked at Lowes but when I applied code to car key it gave me invalid code

WARNING: I went to Home Depot where it used to be you would put in the key, put in the code, and if the code was still valid it would make the free key. Now it makes the key first without asking and Home Depot said they have no place to enter the code.
