Guessing that one with SD reader is slow as shit. No mention I could find of even UHS-1 let alone UHS-2.

I see $29.99 for used. Do you have link to $25?

The 341 advertises "Massive Expansion"... repeatedly. I only experienced minor expansion with this product.

Thse are all 5Gbps: "USB 3.0 = USB 3.1 Gen 1 = USB 3.2 Gen 1." Okay 5 years ago, below standard now

Gen2 10 Gbps hubs from similar brands all cost around the same as these.

I bought the 11 in 1 Anker Hub last month. Returned it. Mine was probably one of the "Used like new" being sold now.

These Anker Hubs get hot enough to fry an egg on them. Also, had to keep unplugging/replugging the DisplayPort and HDMI connection, because it would disconnect a couple times per day. Also, the SD card reader isn't spring loaded. Which doesn't seem like a big deal at first, but then starts getting really old having to manually pull out the card with your fingertips each time, and fight with it.

Instead got a docking station with External Power Supply.

Problem with the hubs with the PD power passthrough is they get really hot, especially when you load them up, charging the laptop, running Ethernet, running external monitor, etc. If you plan to load up the hub with lots of high draw devices, better to get a regular docking station with external power supply.

Can the 341 be powered solely through the USB-C connector to the device, or does it require power input from the USB-PD port?

Yes. No power input required.
