I need a set of spare mics, that I have gen 1 which works nice, need gen 2 to work with my pocket 3, while knowing gen 3 didn't have 3.5mm jack for lavalier mic which is a downgrade to me, so gen 2 seems like it's the best option in my case? Moreover it's cheaper now.
