Sorry - but I think you really want QHD (2560x1440) resolution, NOT FHD 1920x1080) when you get a 27" or 28" monitor. Spend a bit more and get a 2560x1440 27" or 28" monitor - it will serve you better IMHO.

Depends on your use case. I've been wearing bifocals for over a decade and prefer 27" at 1080p so I don't need to jack up the scale/zoom/font size in order to work. Going from the standard corporate issued 24" 1080p monitor to a 27" of the same rez is perfect for general office work for an old fart such as myself. I've got three 27" 1080p monitors in my WFH set up and it is ideal for me.

IMO most will be generally using this as a smart TV monitor and not a computer monitor - that's why it's just 1080p I believe.

Good point - as I didn't make the connection that this was more a "Smart Monitor" verses a standard Computer monitor. When I see Monitor - I automatically think Computer - but considering this has an IR remote and speakers built in - it's definitely more Smart TV style. Appreciate your pointing this out.

Will this work as good as a computer monitor for cpu usage?

It's 2026… why spend $130 on a 27" 1080p monitor? The pixel density is rough—text looks soft and everything feels a bit blurry. 27" at 1080p is basically "big but not sharp," and it's miserable for long sessions.
