Why are there different prices for the same exact items?
That makes zero sense!

There are different codes because depending on area of the country or exact location, a higher priced code may work where a lower priced one will not. That's up to YOUR due diligence to try the codes, if it works, great, if not try another one.
I can't believe I'm saying this because I am a hater of Subway's business practices the past 15 years but these coupon codes combined with the fact that even discounted footlongs count towards the new free footlong after 3 footlong purchases actually has me eating at Subway again. My local subways take the coupon codes, I understand many of yours don't. But I would encourage you to try some of them again, I think more are accepting these codes to promote the rollout of the new rewards system.
You have to still find the best subway in your area as the quality of preparation is hit or miss. But getting two footlongs for $12.99 and also earning 2/3ds of credit towards a free footlong is a deal that got me back eating Subway. You can't feed 2 adults with that much food at many places for that price. It's never going to be as good as Chipotle or Qdoba but when it's cheaper than those two I will certainly eat there once in a while especially as the fast casual burrito places make their portions smaller.

Previous code for 2 subs at $12.99 did not work last month, but now does (nice)
I have a big family, will usually order 4 foot longs at minimum.
Total for 4 subs came out to be $26 after tax, using promo code 1299FL and free 4th sub coupon
After placing the order, I qualified again for a free sub.
