I know big screens are all the rage, but I think it looks hideous when they stick out and overlap the dash. It's getting harder and harder to find 7" ones, so I guess most people don't mind that.

oh man been looking for an android auto one of these with a physical volume knob FOREVER.

i know nothing about this stuff, but I see it gives me the dimensions. I have a 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage, do I just measure my current unit to see if it's the same size?

If it's two din it *most likely* fits. The obvious caveat is if your current stereo sits very deep into the dash but it has some leeway

You might want to get an Android head unit made for your car.

Otherwise, you are going to need a dash cowl, antenna adapter, and maybe a steering wheel control adapter.

Maybe something like this:

ah okay I realize i didn't share that i already have a AVH2300NEX double din stereo, that one says it's a 7" (7" W x 3-7/8" H x 6-1/2" D, fitting a Double DIN slot according to google)

this one says it's 10.1" i'm hoping that just means it fills the face more than being larger, I can't find the dimensions of this thing...

I'd hate to buy it if I couldn't use it but despite all my research I'm not fully confident this is gonna work

i do appreciate everyone's help, i'll keep digging hopefully it doesn't sell out before i figure it out!

Is this actually a good deal? I'm interested but don't keep up with car audio. Or is this actually all its worth and the company just inflates retail price?

Have you ever installed a car stereo yourself (as in bending support brackets or perforated support straps to custom fit)?

This stereo says it needs 100mm x 178mm hole in the dash.

This one is made for your car, and has the physical volume knob:
https://www.amazon.com/Hac-Beach-...B0FRMXC3J7
Could save you a lot of time and buying extra wiring adapters and brackets.

I am very happy with the Eonon headunit I have in my Outlander Sport. 10.1 screen 1280x800 res, and the include AHD camera has very sharp and clear image. No issues with it.

I purchased a bunch of products from eonon from like 06-09 for a show car I built, and I never had an issue with them. If I was in the market, I wouldnt hesitate to purchase from them again.

These are very slow and buggy. Think of a 20 year old cell phone for processor speed. It will work, until it doesn't.

I don't care about looks as much as I care about sound quality, longevity and functionality. I've had about 50 stereos over the years, going back to my first CD stereo from Road Gear or something. JVC has never been an issue for me, I've had probably 12-15. Pioneer and Alpine have also had great quality. Even though Kenwood makes JVC, they were hit or miss, but I like my current one with that's double DIN with no touch screen and I've been using the USB port with a mini thumb drive, no issues for two years and hooked up to a 5 channel JL amplifier.

Buy what you want, but all the cheaper stereos have had issues over time, or garbage from the beginning. I won't do it again.

I worked for Sony and Clarion. These units fit a price bracket well. Heck, Pyle is still in business for a reason.I promise you the sound quality, dependability and longevity of these doesn't compare to Japanese design. Value wise they are impressive though. Just know they may work fine, may not. I have seen plenty of cases of both being true. That is gamble you take at this price point - just don't expect to get the best signal to noise ratio or processor speed.
