I've had mine for about a year and a half. It seems to be holding up. One thing that is super weird though is the bottom of the pans have a weird black residue every time they are washed in the dish washer. Not terrible but it can get everywhere if not maintained. I placed pads in the cabinet where they at so they dont leave stains.

I'm having a hard time cooking with my non-stick stainless steel set and I don't want to risk cooking on Teflon. Is Ceramic a good middle-ground?

FYI: it's just 5 pots/pans. Very misleading product description. They count 4 protectors as part of the 17 pieces.
Just ranting a bit.

My set is about a year old and I only use the big pan but I use it every day and it seems like it is holding up.

Mine will almost make it a year give or take a few months. I cook on them nearly everyday. Outside of stainless and cast iron these are my go to. As the other poster mentioned, the shiny bottom begins to deteriote leaving a residue if left on a clean surface.

Stainless steel is not "non stick."

Teflon and its friends definitely last longer and stick less, but that's because they are chemically engineered to do so - and the stuff that makes them that way is the stuff they is (potentially) unhealthy because we ingest it over time.

Ceramic is a good middle ground. It's natural but adheres less to stuff but it's not quite as good. It's also
not as resilient and so you will need to replace them more often. That's the tradeoff.
