I have one of these and like it, but it's mostly a toy at this point and I need to find some use-cases since I'm not a "creator".

I have this and the Corsair Xeneon Edge definitely get more use out of the Xenon because if the versatility of it. Xenon can also be used as a virtual stream deck.

Close to worthless tech. Provides about $20 worth of real world value and takes hundreds of dollars of your time to configure it into something meaningful. IMO

I work from home and want one so I can put the zoom mute button on it. Wish I was better at remembering keyboard shortcuts. I like having knobs but my keyboard already has a volume knob. Also worried it will just become a toy.

I've had a stream deck for a few years and its great!...when it works. Its very buggy and sometimes not very intuitive.

I have this one and my use case for this are shortcuts to common things. There are profiles that you can use such as Zoom, Spotify, among others. Some use cases that I have tried working on is using this as a tool to simplify adjustments with Lightroom. Unfortunately, I have to purchase a separate product (non Elgato) for this to be useful in Lightroom. But in general, if you work a lot of things (me as a coder), this helps.

Though, I'd probably wait for Elgato week as they have deeper discounts especially for combo items.

I work from home. Since my zoom calls are essentially the same as streaming, I use mine to control screens and presenting, show different time zones across the country, and use it to mute/switch audio sources.

You generally go with Stream Deck because they still support it years later. Corsair has a habit of selling you something then forgetting about it.

So you're saying we should hope Corsair has also had a habit of buying something and forgetting about it?

I thought the same thing.

I bought a 15 button Stream Deck in 2018. I upgraded to the XL a year later. I also use the Virtual Stream Deck [elgato.com] that is free if you own a physical Stream Deck.

It was especially useful back when I ran several game servers. I still use it every day.
