Reviews look like it's good for the first use but issues with the safety cap, leaks and awesome lava explosions after (see Amazon pics, you have to fill it with lava).

I would not trust a random brand with a high pressure device unless you're already in the habit of playing with fragmentation grenades. Bisell has refurbs for about this same price on their ebay store that are a much safer bet.

I've seen this pop up a few times now... anyone try it yet?
We bought it 2-3 months back for same price. It had a lot of reviews. We also considered the Bissell unit. Tested it over winter break and it performed pretty well. A tank lasted way longer than expected. Didn't remove tough built-in grease on stovetop though. Might need to use Barkeeper's Friend first to loosen.

coud something like this perhaps heat up and allow for scraping out 1inch diameter exterior paint drops on.... pourous stone exterior steps a neighbor's sloppy contractor dropped ?

yes, they had the Bisell deal a few days ago on SD, got one. ebay may still have it at a great price refurbed.
