Nice catch. Good for simple one-off transfers but not great for dedicated usage. Will need a 3.0 reader in that case.

I can't find where they list the speed of the SD card slots... so I wouldn't assume it's any faster than USB 2.
EDIT: One person posted a screenshot from the microsd card reader of 129MB/s read and 28MB/s write.

Wow... I just realized m.2 drives have doubled in price since I bought mine in May 2023.

Looks way too convoluted: a jack of all trades, but a master of none 😂

Nah, these things are SUPER handy if you get a good one. I use a Samsung tablet as my main computer when I'm not at home behind a desk. With a quality USB hub, I can plug in a keyboard, mouse, external SSD, transfer images from my mirrorless camera with the SD card slot, and charge the tablet at the same time. If I need more screen size, I can hook up an external monitor to this device as well and then I'm working with dual screens (a tablet screen and a large monitor screen).

The only issue with this one, and why I wouldn't get it, is that they may have cheaped out on the microSD card and SD card slot readers, which means you're waiting a long time for those picture thumbnails to load/transfer/edit, and video editing would take even longer.
Right now I'd like to find a hub that can work at microSD Express card speeds (the fastest ones). I think they may be unobtanium at the current time.
