Anyone has problem with their cardboard spool being larger than others? I got a few as gifts, but noticed they are larger than Sunlu and Jayo plastic spools.

They are a drop bigger than Sunlu, but not enough where I would have even noticed without you mentioning it.


Attached is a photo with it behind a sunlu spool. Not sure if you can see the cardboard on top from the Eryone spool, but that's the size difference.

They're a smidge larger, yeah… still work fine in my AMS.

Filament brands aren't printer specific, so yes, you can use with with the K2 Plus. You won't have the auto-detection on your CFS like you would with some of the Creality branded spools, so you would manually select the profile - "generic silk" should work well.

Your K2 Plus should be able to handle any filament you've seen here on SD.

You may need to print an adapter like the one linked below in order for it to roll properly in your CFS. I print similar ones for my cardboard spools when using them in by Bambu AMS.

Congrats on your 1st printer! Just beware, it can become quite addicting lol. The K2 Plus is HUGE (and heavy) lol. I bought one as I wanted a printer with a bigger bed and right now it's still in the box behind my couch because I can't find an appropriate place to keep it with how big it is lol.
