Is this PETG good? Also what is the purpose of it over PLA?

I have not used their PETG before, but their PLA products are consistently good.

PETG is more difficult to print but is sturdier and more heat resistant than PLA. If you need a functional part, but can't print ABS or ASA, PETG is a descent alternative. PETG CAN be food safe as well, but that should be evaluated on a spool spool basis and not as a general rule of thumb.

I have used many spools of this brand and they print really well, no stringing, but you have to dry them first (65 degrees for at least 8 hours)
