The Elegoo Centauri Carbon is $266 + S/H right now if you don't want to wait. It has a somewhat larger build volume and seems to be a bit more polished than the Flashforge 5M Pro. My friend has one and loves it-- he was a complete newbie to 3D printing and not especially technical, but he's been running that thing constantly.

Anyone else having issues with the promo code? It's not letting me apply it for security reasons it says. 🤷

The OP's code isn't working now, but try codes 20RTK and USWS20. They take $20 off, bringing the price down to $165.95.

For some reason they won't ship to Cleveland, Ohio.

Never mind, I tried a different link and now it is working.

Love this thing. Got one on BF sale and it's been running non-stop. I've even converted my wife to liking it with all the cool stuff I've printed, and she was not a fan to begin with.

For all those saying, "bUt Ff WiLl RePoRt U" just don't use the cloud and use it in LAN mode. Problem solved. Hell, I'd recommend this anyway even if you don't care about them knowing what you print.

Sigh... that crap again. 1. That has nothing to do with the printers or their quality. The machines are quite good. 2. That was FF's reaction to threats by NY's AG who was threatening 3D print mfrs because people can use basically any of these 3D printers to create parts that NY doesn't like. Please stop spreading misinformation.

Just a note.... You are calling a post directly from the manufacturer of this printer, "misinformation". Now I know the definition of that word has mutated to mean someone just doesn't agree with truth, but this is a bit too obvious lol.

No, I'm calling your post and the alarm you are trying to raise misinformation.

We bought this one in August and its very well built and works with Orca Slicer software well. Made quite a few different things with it. The only problem we had is it was sometimes difficult to get good adhesion to the print bed which caused quite a few models to fail.

My post was just an informational link to the manufacturer's own post. You seem to be inventing a narrative.

You said "These printers are cheap for a reason" You didn't show FF cut corners in quality or that these have high failure rates. Instead you trumped the idea that these printers are spying on people etc. You are creating a false narrative that there is something wrong with these very good printers. You also aren't providing the full context of why FF released either statement. FF was just reacting to threats made by NYAG against not just FF but basically all the 3D printer mfrs. This is a nothing burger so the only reason to bring it up is to case fear or spread misinformation.
