I thought Crucial is no more. It's Micron only now.

A full Windows 11 install is way less than 100GB.

Would the 1TB @ $107 also be a good price? I have 256gb in my laptop now but looking to upgrade...

From my understanding the company's going out of business. So something happens to this card while you have it there is no warranties.

They are exiting consumer business but Micron is the company that manufactures Crucial components and and they will continue to provide warranty service.

Maybe, but they won't keep a stock of replacements once the existing supply runs out. They'll be forced to provide refunds or other compensation.

You're right it could be replacement based on stock, a refurb, or refund/credit of some kind. It will be one of those options. Micron did very clearly say all Crucial product warranties will be honored.
