Looks like a nice way to avoid that towel smell in dishes from letting them dry face down. I wonder how quickly it'll rust out.

I had this just for draining the spaghetti putting hot pots over the sink, hardly ever remembered to use it.
Decided to leave it on the counter permanently and just leave one off items I wash there now. No rust for years. Just water collects under it and evaporates. Really is nice to dry off my knives and pots. Looks nice on the counter too doesn't look out of place.
It isn't this one I bought, but this looks identical.

I use these on both sinks. No rust, they are stainless steel. They roll up and go right into the dishwasher. When clean, it is a great place for washed vegetables to dry off. I also use them as a trivet for hot pans and lids. Of course washed dishes like to be placed on them.

Make sure you measure your sink size and give some room for error. Ours is pretty close to the sink opening and if i accidentally bump it a little, it can fall and drop everything that's on it.

These do look very convenient and I've been looking for something that I can just roll up and put into the sink for a long time. Thanks.

I have one like this and another triangle that I use over a towel for clean hand-washed items. Both have never rusted, but the silicone sides DO start to grow black mold in the grooves. I've thought about using bleach, but haven't done it yet. If anyone has a solution, pls post here.
