I wouldn't be surprised if that's just left over from testing and impossible to get it perfectly clean.
Both have been going strong for about 1.5 years now with very minimal maintenance.
My only advice is if you have someone with long hair in your house, go for the double roller models. The single rollers tend to get hair wrapped around the brush and need to have it cut off every few weeks, which doesn't happen with the dual brush.
Community Reviews
Roborock refurbs here look strongest as low risk ways to get capable robot vacuums and mops, especially the Qrevo line for homes that care about spinning pad mopping. Refurbished units have arrived looking nearly new, with only minor dust or small dock scratches, and several have kept running well for a year or more with little maintenance. The main hesitation is price at the top end, where the Curv and similar models have been close enough to new deals that the refurb discount feels thin. A solid option if the model and price line up.
Common Questions (6)
Refurbished Roborock units can arrive looking like new and run for a year or more with no issues, including S7, Q5 Pro, S5, and Q Revo units. The main caveat is that higher-end refurb pricing can be close to or worse than new-sale pricing, so it makes sense to compare against current new prices before buying.
Refurbished units often arrive looking new, with only minor cosmetic signs like dust or a small scratch on the self-empty dock. Replaceable parts have been reported near 96% to 100% condition on arrival, and cleaning can be as simple as wiping them down.
The Qrevo's spinning-pad mopping is described as excellent on mostly hard-surface homes like terrazzo, and it can be a strong choice if mopping matters more than carpet cleaning. It is less important in carpet-heavy homes, where the vacuuming side matters more.
Older units can still run well, but battery wear is a real long-term issue. An S7 after three years was still working, but it needed charging about every 30 minutes, so battery life may be the first major wear item.
Yes. Dual-roller models handle long hair better because single rollers can wrap hair around the brush and need cutting every few weeks, while the double-brush setup avoids that much more often.
Yes. A Q Revo was reportedly $230 with a coupon on a prior eBay deal, so it can be worth monitoring pricing if you are not in a hurry.

My house is primarily terrazzo except for the master bedroom and den.. I find the mopping function (spinning pads) to be amazing on the qrevo.. obviously if my house was primarily carpet the mopping function wouldnt be as important to me
