You gotta e shitting me. 3 months ago, this would have been buried as a no go. All of these unreliable sellers are getting bold in charging premiums based on ram shortage that probably didn't even make it out of the factory yet.

Checks off alot of the boxes, and with the coupon, is actually cheaper than the same config in their gem12 max from six months ago. Remarkable given the rampocalypse

Intel based Ethernet
Four displays (many of the others have three)
Zen4
32g/1tb
Oculink

And it's a metal build, so it's got that beelink asthetic.

It doesn't have an NPU, but you won't miss it.

I would agree that the seller being lesser-known makes this a little iffy but think it helps to look at some previous deals from October to gauge value -

390+ tax for similar specs but slower ram which is seemingly a fairly big deal if you're using the iGPU, and limited availability / sold out quickly

450+ tax for similar specs but slower ram that was also FP

~450 for similar specs seemed to be considered a good to very good deal even before RAM prices went crazy, would assume barebones deals were better, but when I looked at what 2x16GB SODIMMs were going for on Ebay these days I thought this was worth the risk that comes with lesser-known sellers

Aoostar is not a no name company. Their egpu dock with both TB4 and Oculink is pretty famous.

I'm currently using the gem12 (ryzen 9 model) with their egpu dock v2 and it is working quite well. Very stable for now.

FYI:
AMD Ryzen 7 H255 8-Core Processor is essentially a rebadged Ryzen 8845HS processor.
Zen 4 performance, not Zen 5. Still probably good enough for single core gaming

Unfortunately, it is. I'm looking at the GMKtec K12 with the same specs and it is currently $649. I thought maybe RAM would be slower on this one. Nope, both 5600MHz.

I can't speak to this but Aoostar is highly regarded for their NAS offerings.
