I purchased the Osaki OS-Hiro chair posted here recently for $999. I have wanted a massage chair for many years and finally decided to just give it a shot. I have tried probably 35 of them over the years at all prices. Here are a several tips and feedback for you, if you're considering this. For these comments, note that I use the chair almost every single day and have for several months. I do not regret the decision to buy the chair at all and it is a great value. My main complaint would be that it mostly just dulls the pains and aches and doesn't totally alleviate them, however, it gets much closer if you use it for an hour or so while watching TV vs the 15 minutes default.
1. The Hiro chair has generally performed very well and met my expectations of what I thought it should be and more importantly far exceeded the lower quality I was worried it would be. It's very well made. It squeezes hard enough, even though I would like a little more, and it massages in plenty of ways.
2. My chair was delivered with defective airbags in the back of the calf area. There are two small square bags on each leg. They sent a repairman to my house to repair it after a few weeks of waiting. They did not send enough of the bags to resolve the issue. 3 were bad out of 4. This meant the calf area would not inflate. The solution they chose was to bypass these four bags and claimed that was a "successful resolution" and it was "fixed". I disagree with this but ultimately didn't want to keep emailing back and forth. They were friendly, polite and solved (kinda) the problem BUT be aware that I had to call back to remind them, in my opinion, that I was still waiting, before it actually got done. Make sure you check that all bags inflate as soon as you get your chair.
3. The chair is much heavier than you probably think it is and the box is even bigger than that. I had to kind of push the delivery men to bring it to my door rather than leave it in my driveway. Be absolutely sure you are there when it arrives if you want that last leg of the delivery. If you have enough people, that are strong enough, no big deal. Also, note, it barely fits through a standard front door. You have to be super careful. It won't go through a door in the box unless it's a double door or huge.
4. Everything works well, but the controls are the limiting part. It has programs and they are generally good, but I frequently want it to do more of one thing or another and there isn't really a way to do that. The manual control is good, but it's a single mode type of outcome. The programs can make the chair do sequences of the operations that you can't make it do even if you were to press one button after another.
5. The track on mine doesn't really go far enough under your bottom to be of any use to legs. It doesn't even touch the thighs at all. This one may go further, I'm not sure.
6. The brown color on mine is very nice. I missed the black and almost didn't get the brown because I thought it would look bad, but the brown on mine is dark enough to almost be mistaken for brown except in brighter light.
7. The foot rollers are annoying. It insists on turning them on every time and they are painful on mine when the air pressure is high, which I want. The chair also seems to want to aggressively and frequently squeeze the feet.
8. My chair has glitched a few times overnight or when turning off and won't fully park itself. I have had to turn the main switch off and back on to reset. It has always recovered after this.
9. The seating area is narrower than I expected. I fit, but there isn't as much extra room as I would have thought. If you're a "big ole boy", this might not work for you if it is sized similar to the Hiro.
9. There are some unusual clunks and noises that occur occasionally, but nothing has broken so far, that I can tell.
10. The heat on mine is good once it gets warmed up, but it is only one temp, on and off, and it take FOREVER to warm up. I would need to check, but it takes probably 10 minutes of a typical 15 minute standard session.
11. You can extend the sessions out past 15 minutes, to a max of 30 on mine. I assume this one would be the same or similar.

Oof, 300# weight is a lot of chair.
Updated my comment. Mixed info on shipping weight and actual weight. Looks like they list the actual chair weight at 216lbs.

Same question here! Some faux leather start peeling in two years.
It's not the leather on the outside , it's the fabric on the inside that needs to be replaced..

No 3D massage 😬. Not ideal since that means it won't press into you.

I bought that last Osaki Hiro deal and the chair was way better than I expected. I've used it at least 3 times a week since I got it a few months back. Can't say if this one is as good but I can tell ya these chairs are legit.

This one only has the L track The SL track is significantly better but cost a little more. to me it is worth a little extra cost.

What Legit Company only has a 3 month Certificate.
If it is too good to be true -- This looks like a Turd SCAM and Smells like one too.

Pretty much a lot of companies are moving towards shorter lived certificates (especially let's sign) but counter-backed with a longer timestamped signature. The certificate is signed with 2029 one. Long term certificates is a security issue if stolen and not revoked properly.
Azure for an example is even doing three day code signature now.

I purchased the osaki os pro 3d from clearance chair last year when it was posted to SD. Delivery was fine and prompt. Wasn't too heavy (one person and a dolly was enough to lug it in).

It did have an issue (cable fell out in shipping) but osaki sent a technician to fix it covered under warranty, but I did need to push them.

I will say, check the dimensions of your door since it comes in basically one peice. I had to remove my backyard sliding door from the track to fit it in.

You need to spend triple the price and get one rated for fat people.
