This LG 32 inch UltraGear is a budget 1440p curved gaming monitor that can land anywhere from about $77 to $189 in Walmart stores, with some checks showing $179 or $130 depending on location. The VA panel gives strong blacks and a solid fit for immersive content or productivity, and the 32 inch size is described as workable for 1440p. The main drawback is VA black smearing, especially on dark content, and the large screen is not ideal for ultra competitive gaming. It is a decent value when the lower in store price appears.
Common Questions (4)
The monitor has been found at $77, $89, $130, $179, and $189 depending on store and timing. It is an in-store-only YMMV clearance-style deal, so the price can vary a lot by location.
Yes, it uses a VA panel. That means deeper blacks and potentially less backlight bleed, but it can also show black smearing on dark scenes or dark websites with white text.
It can be fine for budget gaming and immersive use, but the VA panel can show ghosting and motion blur, especially in dark content. It is better suited to casual gaming, productivity, or a secondary screen than ultra-competitive play.
Inventory checks may show no useful information, and some stores can have stock while still listing the monitor at regular price. The deal appears highly store-specific, so an in-person check is more reliable than online inventory tools.
